Delete Your Account & Data
In Janken Kingdom, you can delete your account and the data on our server at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Method 1: Delete in the app
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- Under "Account", tap "Delete account".
- Two confirmation dialogs appear (the first explains what will be removed, the second asks if you really want to). Tap "Delete" in the second one to finish.
Deletion cannot be undone. Data stored only on your device, such as Story Mode progress, is lost when you uninstall the app.
If you are changing devices or reinstalling, you do not need to delete your account: use a transfer code under Settings → Transfer to move it to the new device.
Method 2: If you no longer have the app installed
Uninstalling the app does not delete the data on our server. If you cannot use the app, please request deletion by email.
- Send an email to dev.iketomo@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request".
- In the message, please include the following.
- Your nickname (the last one you used, if you remember it)
- Your account ID (if you can check it in the app). If you do not know the ID, please tell us your nickname plus information only the account owner would know (for example, the date of a match or the nickname of an opponent you played). If we cannot confirm that you are the owner, we may be unable to delete the account.
We may ask for additional information to confirm that you are the account owner. We cannot delete another person's account.
We aim to reply to your request within 14 days.
Data that is deleted
- Your nickname, account ID and secret, friends and their requests, recent opponents, invitation-mute settings, points and stats, notification tokens, unused transfer codes, and the replays of matches you took part in (they also disappear from your opponents' lists).
Data that is kept
- Rows in the final rankings of past seasons and the top-100 lists of past months are kept in a form that is not linked to you. Only the season (month), rank, points, and title (or wins and losses) remain; your account ID and nickname are deleted. The entry is shown as "Deleted user".
- Operation logs (records for investigating problems, which may contain nicknames) may remain until their retention period ends. The retention period is up to 30 days.
- Data stored only on your device (Story Mode progress, settings, and so on) is never sent to the server and is erased when you uninstall the app.
For details on what we collect and how long it is kept, see the Privacy Policy.
