Terms of Use

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the game Janken Kingdom (the "App") provided by Ikeda Tomohiro (the "Operator"), and the related servers, website, and other services (together, the "Service").
  2. By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Article 2 (The Service)

  1. The App is a free-to-play rock-paper-scissors battle game with features such as Story Mode, CPU Battle, Rank Match, and Room Match.
  2. Communication charges and other costs required to use the Service are the user's responsibility.

Article 3 (Accounts and nicknames)

  1. When you use online features, the App automatically creates an account (ID and secret) for you. The account information is stored on your device.
  2. You choose your own nickname. Because other players can see it, do not use your real name, information that could identify you, or words that may offend others.
  3. You are responsible for managing your transfer codes and account information. Do not share them with anyone.
  4. You can delete your account at any time from the App's settings screen. Deletion cannot be undone. For the steps, see Delete Your Account & Data.

Article 4 (Prohibited conduct)

  1. When using the Service, you must not engage in any of the following.
    • Cheating of any kind (using modified apps, tampering with communications, using automation programs, manipulating rankings or points, or fraudulent matches using multiple accounts)
    • Disruptive conduct toward other players (insults, harassment, threats, discriminatory remarks, or deliberately stalling or abandoning matches)
    • Inappropriate nicknames or chat (content contrary to public order and morals, sexual or violent content, posting personal information, impersonation, or advertising and solicitation)
    • Attacking the servers or network, placing excessive load on them, unauthorized access, or exploiting vulnerabilities
    • Reverse engineering the App or servers, or copying, reposting, or selling the content of the Service without permission
    • Any act that violates laws or public order and morals, or that the Operator reasonably judges to be inappropriate

Article 5 (Handling of data)

  1. The handling of user information is described in the Privacy Policy.
  2. Data stored only on your device, such as Story Mode progress, may be lost if you uninstall the App or change devices.

Article 6 (Changes, suspension, and termination of the Service)

  1. The Operator may change or temporarily suspend the Service without prior notice (including for maintenance, outages, or natural disasters).
  2. The Operator may end all or part of the Service for operational reasons. In that case, we will try to give advance notice in the App, on this website, or elsewhere.
  3. Game balance adjustments and changes to how points, rankings, and seasons are handled may be made.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Service is provided "as is." The Operator does not guarantee that the Service is free of bugs, errors, disconnections, or data loss, that it is fit for a particular purpose, or that it will work properly on your device.
  2. The Operator is not liable for damage arising from your use of the Service, except where the Operator has acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
  3. Please resolve any disputes between users among yourselves.

Article 8 (Suspension and account removal)

  1. If you violate these Terms, or the Operator judges that you may have, the Operator may take measures without prior notice, such as changing your nickname, revoking rankings or points, suspending your use of the Service, or deleting your account.
  2. The Operator is not liable for any damage arising from such measures.

Article 9 (Changes to these Terms)

  1. The Operator may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to it.

Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute concerning the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan as the court of first instance.
