Story
The story begins
Long ago, there was a peaceful kingdom that loved Rock Paper Scissors: Janken Kingdom.
A terrible Devil appeared and carried off the Princess, the pride of the kingdom.
Seeking a hero to defeat the Devil, the King declared a tournament for the best players in the land.
How Story Mode works
Choose your character
Start by choosing one of the nine characters. The ending changes depending on who you pick.
Fight six opponents in turn
You face six opponents in the tournament, one after another.
Recruit the opponents you beat
You can recruit an opponent you beat, up to two allies. Allies can be chosen as your fighter from the next match on.
Then, the boss fights
Beat all six, and the boss fights await.
A different ending for every character
Every character has their own ending. See them all!
Earn medals
Clearing the story and defeating bosses earns medals. The harder the difficulty, the better the medal.
Three difficulty levels
You choose a difficulty before starting Story Mode. It changes how strong your opponents and the bosses are.

On Hard, a loss ends your run. On Easy and Normal, you can continue and rechallenge the same opponent.
